Beat the Receipt is a campaign group started by Flux in 2019 in order to educate the public and encourage retailers to be more sustainable with regards to paper receipts.
The Beat the Receipt campaign does not push for digital alternatives to paper receipts. Rather, its sole aim is to reduce the number of paper receipts being printed unnecessarily. Supporters of the Beat the Receipt campaign have relationships with the campaign staff, not with Flux, and there is no requirement to be working with Flux in order to support the campaign.
